About Space Engineering

The Space Engineering Department provides essential engineering support and guidance to ZINGSA's space programs and projects. This includes developing innovative solutions such as 3D printing of space components, designing advanced space structures, and reverse engineering of drones for space exploration. The department educates scientists and engineers on the latest advancements in the field of space engineering, playing a crucial role in driving the growth and success of ZINGSA's space initiatives.

Aeronautical Engineering

Aeronautical Engineering focuses on the theory, technology, and practice of flight within the earth’s atmosphere. The department also aims to develop leading-edge technologies and integrate them into aerospace vehicle systems used for transportation, communications, exploration, and defense applications. This involves the design and manufacturing of aircraft, spacecraft, propulsion systems, satellites, and missiles, as well as the design and testing of aircraft and aerospace products, components, and subassemblies.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is a department branch that combines engineering physics and mathematics principles with materials science to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems.Mechanical engineering appreciates core technological areas that include:

  • Additive manufacturing, 3D Printing
  • Subtractive manufacturing technologies
  • Thermodynamics
  • Materials science and
  • Structural analysis

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The Electrical and Electronic engineering section is responsible for the design, control, and implementation of electrical systems and electronic systems. The discipline also collaborates with other engineers to design and apply new systems as well as testing ,examining power needs on new equipment and calculating power budgets. Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining communication networks for space-based applications
  • Monitoring the performance of space-based systems and components
  • Designing data acquisition systems for space-based applications
  • Maintaining safety and security systems for space-based applications
